CAIRNS AQUARIUM – Sustainability Initiatives

Cairns Aquarium has committed to reduce its impact on the environment by investing over $400,000 in the installation of a 403 k/w solar array on its 1 acre roof top area. This will enable the Cairns Aquarium to derive 15% of its energy needs from renewable energy. Installation is due to take place in December 2024.
